The Conagua Bridge is part of the Mexico-Toluca Railway and is located in Mexico City.
It is a cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 515.5 m, divided into five 100-200-100-57.75-57.75 m spans.
The type of deck is a box girder with a 3.75 m edge.
The towers are V-shaped and are supported at roof level by a cross beam.
The height of the towers is 45m measured from the top face of the deck. Mexico City is a seismic zone, so this is one of the key points in the design of the bridge. In one of the abutments, a viscous damper has been installed in the longitudinal direction to reduce the seismic force on the structure.
