The New Central Highway <\/b>is a mountain highway with a length of about 190 kilometers, with 4 lanes in a single carriageway that will start in Lima and end in the District of Yauli, Jun\u00edn, thus linking the Peruvian coast with the Amazon jungle.<\/p>\n

The highway will cross the Peruvian Andes<\/b>, starting at an altitude of 300 m above sea level and reaching up to 4,800 m above sea level.<\/p>\n

The design of this new route will incorporate the structural study of tunnels, viaducts, bridges, slope containment works, drainage works, operation and maintenance buildings, among others.<\/p>\n

It will be a highway of the National Road Network of the Peruvian State, executed under the Government-to-Government modality between the Republics of Peru and France<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The expected investment is 7,000 million USD <\/b>over 8 years.<\/p>\n

This is the largest infrastructure project in Latin America. One of the 3 most important in the world <\/b>today.<\/p>\n
