The Engordany roundabout is located at the exit of the village of Escaldes in Andorra, on the old road to La Massana It has two traffic lanes and a branch line. It is a structure located over a gorge in the river, which meant that it had to be supported on both banks and on the wall of the gorge by a concrete element anchored in the rock. Four circular pillars, each 1 m in diameter, radially open in plan to support the inner edge of the roundabout. The outer diameter of the roundabout is 44.6 m and the inner diameter is 18 m. The deck is formed by a multi-cellular metal box with an outer edge of 1.2 m on the roundabout and on the branch. In the inner area of the roundabout, the box is enlarged with a triangular cell with a maximum edge of 2.3 m. The 0.20 m thick slab, connected to the steel structure by bolts, was concreted on a corrugated sheet.
