10 years of the bridge of the Constitution of 1812 in Cádiz

From CFC we join the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 1812 Constitution Bridge. Having participated both in its design and in the technical assistance during its construction, allows us to share the satisfaction of seeing how this infrastructure has been consolidated as a technical and social reference in Spain and Europe.

For CFC it was a great challenge because it is undoubtedly in the large spans where the real structural challenges emerge. Conceived to modernize mobility in Cadiz, today it continues to be a landmark of bridge engineering and inspires the new challenges we face every day in our work.

CFC approached the project with exquisite formal care and its own language, a true work of structural art, which has allowed it to be included in the Museum of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando as an innovative proposal, in line with the defense that Javier Manterola and his team have always made of understanding engineering as a ‘work of art’.
